The California Faculty Association at Cal Poly is dedicated to protecting the rights of ALL Cal Poly faculty. The CFA office, located in Building 38, Room 141, is open Monday through Friday 10 AM to 1 PM. Board members are available by email and telephone throughout the year. It seems the campus Provost at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo may have missed the memo about the CSU’s mission to provide quality, affordable education to California’s working class.

If it weren’t published in an article in the California Coast News on November 18, it would be almost impossible to believe the following statements were delivered by a high-ranking administrator in the CSU system:

Join us from 12-1 in the UU Plaza and tell Charlie Reed that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  We will provide signs and lunch.  We will also give a t shirt to the first 70 people; if you have one, wear a black t shirt in case you are not one of the lucky t shirt recipients.

Two Easy Things You Can Do to Encourage the Chancellor to Pay You the SSI or Equity Pay He Owes You!

As the "CFA Headlines" have stated, CFA is now allowed to strike because the Chancellor is refusing to pay the SSIs and Equity Pay given to us in our LAST contract, even though THREE impartial fact-finders have ruled that he should do so. There are two easy things you can do to put pressure on the Chancellor.
