Council for Affirmative Action

The Council for Affirmative Action is dedicated to promoting and supporting diversity within the CSU and within CFA.

The Council is committed to protecting faculty from discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, age, disability, or veteran's status. The Council's responsibilities include being vigilant, assuming leadership, organizing, and taking action to ensure CSU and CFA goals towards the promotion of diversity Affirmative Action practices.

In light of hate-motivated attacks on CSU campuses, CFA’s Affirmative Action Council is gathering details of faculty member’s experiences and raising awareness of available resources through a survey. The Council will use the results to develop tools that can contribute to safer campuses for all students, staff and faculty.
